There are several issues which can occur in the inner ear. Calcium particles can build up in the ear canals (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). Fluid pressure can build up in the ear (Meniere’s disease). Viral infections can attack inner ear nerves (Vestibular neuritis). All of these issues are responsible for causing a person the feeling of vertigo. Many symptoms go along with vertigo.
Balance Problems. This is the primary and most common symptom of vertigo. Many people will feel a permanent dizziness or spinning feeling. People with vertigo feel like the world is unbalanced and swaying and may feel like they are being pulled in directions other than straight down.
