Sexual Dysfunction. The sensory problems that result from multiple sclerosis often times will affect normal functioning of the genitalia. Sexual dysfunction can be a result of complete nerve impulse obstruction causing numbness of the genital regions. Alternatively, it could be a result of miscommunication between the nerves in the genital region and the brain resulting in the interference of secreting hormones that are imperative for normal sexual function.
