Of all the sexually transmitted infections (STI) in the world, chlamydia is the most common. People are often unsure of what chlamydia even is. For many people it doesn’t show any signs and many people may be unaware they even have this STI. Those who do get symptoms will typically get them between 5 and 10 days after infection.
No Symptoms. This is arguably most common, which is part of why chlamydia spreads so easily. Some show symptoms, but they only occur for around 50% of the infected males. For women, around 75% don’t show a symptom and are unaware they have this infection!
