Common minor side effects. Other side effects that are not as severe include: stuffy nose, runny nose, sneezing, sleepiness, heartburn, stomach pain, vaginal itching and/or discharge, nausea and/or vomiting. These side effects generally do not need medical attention and will go away on their own as your body adjusts to the medication. However, tell your doctor if any of these side effects become worse or do not go away.
