Manage inflammation through a healthy diet. To maintain low levels of inflammation, eliminate processed foods from your diet. Foods containing high-sodium, added sugar, processed grains (especially if gluten is present), high levels of refined and saturated fats, or alcohol should all be avoided. In place of the foods mentioned above, you should eat all kinds of vegetables, particularly the green leafy type, bone broth, and clean proteins such as grass-fed beef, raw dairy or cage-free eggs. Foods containing high amounts of magnesium and potassium, such as bananas, coconut water, sweet potatoes, avocados, and greens are also encouraged. To fight inflammation while satisfying your sweet tooth try citrus fruits, pineapple, berries or melon.
