Those with lung cancer running in their families can have regular lung scans to catch any lung cancer development in its early stages. Children who are exposed to infections via other children and those who stay in close quarters with others can wash their hands frequently and take daily vitamins to reduce chances of contracting an infection that will cause wheezing. Individuals who smoke any kind of tobacco, vapors, or drugs can abstain from those behaviors to reduce their risk of developing wheezing and other complications.
