Spreading back pain. The pain doesn’t only occur with urination. A dull, constant pain often begins when the first symptom does. It generally begins in the lower abdomen and lower back. It grows more intense as it spreads to the groin. This steady ache is often interrupted by periods of throbbing pain that is sometimes described as being as bad as giving birth.
