When a person does not get a normal night’s sleep, they run the risk of sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation is where the body does not get enough total sleep. When someone has chronic sleep deprivation, they will experience a broad variety of symptoms. This includes clumsiness, weight gain or weight loss, daytime sleepiness, fatigue, and other symptoms.
