Dander. Any animal that has hair (this includes humans), fur, or feathers, produces dander. These flakes of skin shed freely as owners and pets move about their home. The number of pets owned determines how much dander needs to be controlled. If you have three pets, then you have three times the amount of dander to clean than you would have with one pet.
